Today's Horse Racing Odds: Monday 25th April

There are no less than four race meetings across the UK and Ireland on Sunday 12th June with the action coming from Gowran Park, Doncaster, Downpatrick and Salisbury.

It’s off to Irish shores first for an eight-race card at Gowran Park, the action going from 13:20 until 17:25, and there are extra places being paid out in the 14:30, 15:05 and the 15:40.

The Gowran Festival Of Speed August 21st Handicap at 15:40 has attracted 19 runners and last-time-out winner Angel’s Trumpet will be hoping to repeat that trick at 4/1, although stiff competition is expected from the likes of 4/1 Myrcella and 10/1 Pimstrel.

We head over to English soil next for another eight-race event, this time at Doncaster (13:37-17:42), and there are once again extra places to take advantage of in the opener, 17:07 and the finale.

Royal Ascot Betting Odds

The curtain-raiser in South Yorkshire is set over 7f 6y and the John Quinn-trained Brazen Bolt is the 4/1 favourite to make it back-to-back victories, while 11/2 Abduction and 13/2 Starshiba will also be hoping to have a major say on matters.

It’s back to Ireland for the penultimate meeting of the day, a seven-race card from Downpatrick that runs from 13:45 until 17:15, and there is another extra place to utilise in the 16:40.

Last, but by no means least, the action concludes with a seven-race meeting from Salisbury, with the opener set to go off at 14:05 and the finale scheduled for 17:35.

There is an extra place on offer in the 14:40 – the Ford Civil Engineering Fillies’ Handicap over 6f 213yds – and the duo of Rose Barton (11/4) and Penguin Island (5/1) are expected to put in strong challenges for glory.
