Today's Horse Racing Odds: Monday 25th April

There are no fewer than 10 meetings planned on Saturday across the UK and Ireland, including cards at Haydock, Chester and Punchestown.

Navan’s eight-race meeting starts proceedings on Saturday afternoon, where the going is good (good to firm in places). The first contest begins at 13:05, while the final race should get underway at 17:10.

Haydock’s Friday meeting was abandoned after just two races due to unsafe ground, but officials are confident Saturday’s card will go ahead without any issues. The going is good for their seven-race meeting, which takes place from 13:10 until 16:40. There are two Group 3 contests scheduled at 14:55 and 15:30, with the Betfred John of Gaunt Stakes, the latter of the two, the main highlight.

Punchestown’s eight-race meeting soon follows, with the going good-good to yielding in places for the first contest at 13:20. Up to four places are up for grabs in the next race at 13:55, with I’ll Be That Lady (7/4 fav) looking the one to beat after a comfortable win at Tipperary at the start of this month.

The going is good to firm (good in places) for Beverley’s seven-race meeting, which runs from 13:30 until 17:00.

There are another seven contests planned at Catterick from 13:51 until 17:24, and the going is good to firm at the Yorkshire track.

Chester’s card will run between 14:01-17:30, where the going is good (good to firm in places).

Thanks to Betfred’s “Super Extra Place” promotion, punters can take advantage of four places in a handicap contest at 15:45, and Oh This Is Us (5/1) has good course form and could give connections a run for their money.

Eight minutes after Chester’s card gets underway, Cartmel’s seven-race meeting will commence. The going is good for the opening contest at 14:09, while punters can watch the action until 17:39.

Chelmsford hosts seven races from 14:25-17:55 on standard going, while Salisbury’s seven-race card will take place between 17:35 and 20:45 on good to firm (good in places) ground.

Ffos Las’ seven-race jumps card brings the action to a close on Saturday. The going is good for the opening race at 17:50, while the final contest is due to start at 21:00.
