There’s afternoon racing action at Chepstow and Southwell on Monday, plus evening meetings from Windsor and Wolverhampton and an Irish card from Ballinrobe.
The first race of the day is at Chepstow at 13:05 and the meeting at the Welsh course finishes up after the seventh contest at 16:15.
The third race from Chepstow is one of Betfred’s designated ‘Extra Place’ races, paying three places, and King Of War (7/4) will hope to finally get in the winners’ enclosure after going close several times recently.
He finished third in successive races at Brighton and here last month before coming in second of 12 last time out in a handicap at Bath.
Southwell’s seven-race card is set to get under way at 13:20 and the final race there is scheduled for 16:30.
In the second contest, due off at 13:50, Betfred are paying out two places instead of win only in this four-strong affair, designated as a ‘Super Extra Place’ race.
Captain Ivan (2/1) is expected to feature prominently after being a runner-up in all three starts for Laura Morgan and stepping up to 2m4f may inspire improvement today.

Windsor’s Monday night action begins at 17:05 and the last race set to go off there later on is at 20:10.
In the opener, which is one of Betfred’s promotional ‘Free Bet If Second’ races, maiden Romantic Memories (10/3) will hope to come out on top against 11 rivals.
Despite having yet to win from six outings, Jonathan Portman’s charge was an impressive runner-up in a Salisbury handicap 13 days ago and, off the same mark here, should go well.
Wolverhampton’s seven-race card is staged between 17:55 and 21:00, while the Irish meeting at Ballinrobe has seven races, starting at 17:15 and ending with the 20:20.
