The Boston Celtics (9/4 2021/22 NBA Championship outright) levelled their Eastern Conference play-off final with the Miami Heat (9/2) at 2-2 after a 102-82 victory in Game 4 of their best-of-seven series.
Jayson Tatum was the key man for Boston, scoring 31 points at TD Garden and getting the Celtics back into the series following Saturday’s 109-103 loss at the same venue.
The 24-year-old’s match-winning performance included eight rebounds and five assists and was a huge step up from his return of 10 points in Boston’s defeat last time out.
Speaking about his Game 3 exploits, Tatum said: “You feel like you let your team-mates down.
“I think I do a really good job of sleeping it off regardless if I had 10 points or 46 points. I’m a big believer that you can’t change what happened. I didn’t doubt myself.”
