There is plenty of racing action across the UK and Ireland to get stuck into on Sunday with meetings from Plumpton, Leopardstown, Ludlow and Hamilton.

First up is Plumpton’s eight-race card, which runs from 13:40 until 17:30 in East Sussex, and there are extra places being paid out in the 14:15, 16:00 and the 17:00.

In the 14:15, the Warren Greatrex-trained Salamanca School has picked up two victories from the last five runs and is 3/1 to chalk up another win, although stiff competition is expected from 9/4 Mystical Clouds.

The attention then turns to the sole Irish meeting of the day, an eight-race offering from Leopardstown that begins with the 13:50 and concludes with the 17:35, and extra places can be utilised in the 15:35, 16:05 and the finale.

It’s back to English soil for the penultimate meeting, a seven-race affair from Ludlow (14:05-17:10), and Betfred’s extra place promotion will be covering the 14:40 and the 15:40.

Latest Horse Racing Events

The 15:40 – the Welsh Guards Association David Scrumpy Lewis Handicap Hurdle – has attracted a field of seven that is headed by 2/1 favourite Just The Man, who holds the highest OR of the runners at 122.

Last, but by no means least, Sunday’s fourth and final meeting is a seven-race card from Hamilton (15:50-18:45) in Scotland and there are promotions to make the most of in all of the races.

The 16:18, 16:48, 17:48, 18:18 and 18:45 all have an extra place being paid out in them, while the opener is covered by the ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ offer and the 17:18 is the Super Extra Place Race.

In the 17:18, a total of five places will be paid out at a fifth of the odds and no less than 15 runners will be taking part in this contest, with the likes of 4/1 Rayong and 8/1 Zim Baby expected to put in strong challenges for glory.
