Today's Horse Racing Odds: Monday 25th April

What better way to see in the weekend than with a bumper Friday of racing action, with a total of eight meetings scheduled to take place across the UK and Ireland.

There is something for everyone with Flat racing taking centre stage at Chepstow, Sandown, York, Fairyhouse and Goodwood, while they will go over jumps at Clonmel, Newton Abbot and Aintree.

Chepstow will be our first port of call, with the Welsh track set to showcase a seven-race card from 13:00-16:20, with the opener, as well as the 14:40 and 15:10, all benefiting from Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion.

It is a similar story at Sandown where they go to post for seven races from 13:10-16:25, with the ‘Extra Place’ offer coming into play for the 15:55 Beck Handicap from the Esher track.

Betfred’s ‘Super Extra Place’ offer will also be available for the 14:20 from Sandown, meaning they will be paying out on four places rather than the usual three.

York’s seven-race card will take centre stage from 14:00-17:10, with the ‘Extra Place’ offer available for the 14:30 and 16:05, while the feature race in North Yorkshire will be the Listed Seat Unique Ganton Stakes at 15:30.

That Listed offering looks set to be an intriguing battle, with Mohaafeth (11/10) expected to perform well having been dropped in class, but Brunch (5/2) has a good record at York, winning twice and placing twice on five previous trips to the Knavesmire.

Both of Friday’s Irish cards will be evening starts, with Fairyhouse’s seven-race offering going to post between 16:45-20:15, while they will also run seven times at Clonmel from 17:00-20:30.

Back across the Irish Sea, Newton Abbot will host seven races from 17:05-20:36, while Goodwood’s six-race card will begin at 17:15 and reach a conclusion at 20:09.

The 18:24 Handicap from Goodwood will benefit from Betfred’s ‘Free Bet if 2nd’ promotion and it is a race where Aggagio (7/2) and Saratoga Gold (13/2) could renew their growing rivalry at the front of the field.

Aintree’s seven-race card will then round off the day’s action between 17:28-20:53, and once again Betfred will have a promotion available, with the opener from the Merseyside track benefiting from their ‘Extra Place’ offer.
