Relegation battle in full focus

Jesse Marsch

It’s another busy day of Premier League action on Sunday with no less than three games kicking off at 14:00 and there is plenty to play for at the bottom of the table, with Everton (1/4 – To Stay Up) and Leeds United (4/9) both hoping to boost their survival hopes.

At the Emirates, Arsenal have the opportunity to cement their place in fourth position when they welcome 17th-placed Leeds to the Emirates (Arsenal 2/5, Draw 19/5, Leeds 6/1 – Match Betting).

With fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur drawing at Liverpool on Saturday evening, the Gunners have the chance to move four points clear of their arch rivals with a home victory over the Whites while also closing the gap to Chelsea in third to one point.

Leeds are just one place and two points above the relegation zone and are without a win from their last two outings, drawing 0-0 with Crystal Palace before being thrashed 4-0 by Manchester City.

If Jesse Marsch’s (pictured) men don’t come away with anything from the Emirates, they could end the day in the relegation zone if Everton manage to get the better of Leicester City at the King Power Stadium at 14:00 (Leicester 17/10, Draw 23/10, Everton 8/5 – Match Betting).

Premier League Betting Odds

The Toffees, who are two points from safety, head into the clash on the back of a 1-0 victory over Chelsea and the visitors will be hoping to keep that momentum going against a Foxes outfit still reeling from their Europa Conference League semi-final exit in midweek.

Frank Lampard’s troops will need a considerable improvement if they are going to claim the spoils in the East Midlands, as they have lost their last eight matches on the road across all competitions.

The third and final game getting underway at 14:00 is the contest between relegated Norwich City and West Ham United, who were knocked out of the Europa League at the semi-final stage in midweek and will need to pick themselves up quickly.

The Hammers are sitting seventh in the table, six points behind Manchester United in sixth, but the Irons have two games in hand and will be hoping to catch the Red Devils.

West Ham are 8/11 to claim the spoils at Carrow Road, while the draw is priced at 11/4 and the Canaries are 18/5 to record just their sixth league victory of the campaign.
