The Miami Heat (4/1 NBA Championship outright) ended the Philadelphia 76ers’ hopes of an NBA title thanks to a 99-90 win in the Conference semifinals on Thursday night.

Philly were hoping home advantage at The Wells Fargo Center would help keep the series alive but Heat star Jimmy Butler had different ideas.

Butler scored 32 points with eight rebounds and four assists in his 43 minutes on court to help secure Miami’s (Evs Eastern Conference outright) progress in the playoffs.

Thursday night also saw a dominant performance from the Dallas Mavericks to maintain their title hopes as they tied up their series with the Phoenix Suns at 3-3.

Dallas managed to secure an impressive 113-86 win at the American Airlines Center, with Luka Doncic once again shining for the Mavs with 33 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

There are two games taking place in the early hours of Saturday morning, starting with the Milwaukee Bucks taking on the Boston Celtics at Fiserv Forum (Bucks 5/6, Celtics Evs – Money Line).

It’s the reigning champion Bucks who hold a slender 3-2 series lead going into Game 6, after they managed to edge their last encounter against the Celtics 110-107.

The other game this Saturday morning sees the Golden State Warriors continue their battle with the Memphis Grizzlies (Warriors 1/4, Grizzlies 3/1 – Money Line).

Golden State holds the 3-2 advantage in the series leading into this next encounter with Memphis at the Chase Center.
